Where did I eat?
Mister at 1141 Mainland Street in Vancouver.
What do they specialize in?
Liquid nitrogen ice cream.
What was the vibe?
Bright, trendy, small.
What did I order?
Lemon, Chocolate, Avocado, and Creme Brûlée Ice Cream
- They use liquid nitrogen to make their ice cream here and it is a pretty cool novelty to watch them make it before your eyes.
- All of the flavours were good and well executed, however, I think the only one I would make a trip back for is the creme brûlée.
- The creme brûlée was definitely special and unlike any other ice cream available in Vancouver. The ice cream is rich, thick, and custardy and the caramelization on top adds another layer of flavour that takes it to another level.
Disclosure: I did not pay for my meal.
The creme brûlée ice cream is worth making a special trip to come try, however, I don’t think the other flavours are worth the high price.
