Qoola Frozen Yogurt is a build your own frozen yogurt bar that has multiple locations in BC. They have several different flavours of yogurt and you pay by the weight of your bowl. They also have an extensive topping bar. While shopping in Metrotown I wanted a sweet snack, so I went to try Qoola, since I’ve never been.
I was really happy to see that they had two different dairy free sorbet flavours. I got a swirl of mango and very berry sorbet ($5). The very berry was a mix of blackberry, strawberry, and blueberries and it was tart and a bit sweet. The mango was mild and it got overpowered by the very berry flavour.
They had a bunch of fruit toppings and I picked blackberries, strawberries, and pomegranate seeds. They had large green tea mochi that were chewy and delicious. I liked it better than the regular smaller mochi.
They also had a few different flavours of popping boba, which is my current favourite froyo topping. I tried the mango, strawberry, and lychee flavours. Out of the three my favourite was the lychee.
I enjoyed Qoola and I think I will head here instead of Pinkberry from now on while at Metrotown because they have way more flavours and toppings. I also like how you can build it yourself so you can choose exactly what you want.
Yes, for tasty froyo.
