Waji’s is a quick service restaurant located in the Seattle International Airport. They serve Japanese inspired items like teriyakis, chicken katsu, yakisoba, and prepackaged sushi. Waji’s is located in concourse C a bit further down from the main food court area.

I needed some dinner before a flight and I didn’t want anything too heavy, so I ordered the chicken yakisoba.

The bowl was filled with noodles, chunks of chicken, and a bunch of vegetables. The vegetables weren’t really cooked. They were still hard and very crunchy and I would have preferred them to be a bit more sautéed. The chicken was pretty moist, but there wasn’t tons of it in the bowl. Everything together tasted okay, but a bit bland. I wish that there would have been more sauce or seasoning on everything.

My meal from Waji’s was edible and it did the job, but it was nothing to write home about. If this were outside of an airport I would not return, however, given the limited options in an airport and since most of them are greasy fast food chains, Waji’s is a decent choice.

Yes, it’s not great, but it is okay for airport food.
