Pearl Drops Teahouse

After our dinner at Bao Chau, Melissa and I wanted dessert so we headed to Pearl Drops Teahouse for some bubble tea. The inside is tiny and it was empty when we got there but it filled up fast. They have a large menu of drinks with tons of different tea, fruit, and milkshake drinks.

They had a sign that had the top five most popular drinks and I went with number one, the oasis. The oasis is a mango lychee passionfruit fruit slush drink and I added coconut jelly to it. I loved this combination of sweet and tropical fruit and I see why it’s the most popular! The fruit tasted fresh and the drink had a good consistency that wasn’t too thick or too watery. The coconut jelly had a bouncy chewy texture and a strong coconut flavour and I thought it went well with the tropical flavours.

Melissa ordered the lychee slush with coconut jelly drink. I had a sip of hers and it was mild and refreshing, however, the lychee flavour wasn’t strong and it wasn’t that sweet (which could be good or bad depending on what you want).

Overall I enjoyed my drink and I would definitely come back to Pearl Drops. Their menu is large so I would like to return to try some of their unique teas. They also have dessert cakes available.

Yes, for good bubble tea.
