Naanwraps is a Indian food truck that serves Indian style wraps (apparently they have added some new menu items recently). They also had bowls of butter chicken and mango lassi on the menu. When I went they were located on Burrard but they move around all the time. Currently I don’t think they are operating downtown and I’m not sure if they are open for the winter.

Tandoori Chicken Naan Wrap

I ordered the tandoori chicken naanwrap ($6.50) which comes with chicken, onions, rice, peppers and a creamy sauce all wrapped inside of a big piece of naan. I was surprised at how large the wrap was and the combination of the naan and rice was very filling. I thought the wrap tasted good but it wasn’t spectacular. It was hearty but it seemed a little boring to me and I wish it had a bit more flavorful spice to it. The price is good for the size of the wrap and if you are looking for a decent and affordable lunch this will do the trick but it’s not a super memorable meal.

Yes, for a basic and filling lunch.
