The Vancouver Christmas Market

The Vancouver Christmas Market is a German inspired Christmas market located at the Plaza at Queen Elizabeth Theatre. They have lots of little stalls selling various soaps, scarves, Christmas decorations, and lots of food. They are open from 11am to 9pm daily until December 24th. The market has plenty of food stands featuring German sausages, roasted chicken, beer, pretzels, candy/chocolate, and roasted apples. All of the food here is a bit pricy and isn’t huge but its a fun festive atmosphere.

Mulled Wine

I came here just after eating lunch so I wasn’t hungry for food but I did try some mulled wine ($6). I’ve never tried mulled wine before but I love Christmasy food so I was excited to see it here. I really enjoyed the drink and found it very warming. It had a spicy citrus flavor and was quite sweet, which I liked. It also comes in a cute Vancouver Christmas Market mug (which you have to return).

If you want to get some German food and soak up the Christmas atmosphere you better do it soon because there’s only one more week to visit the Christmas Market.
