Pizza Point

Another long day at school means trying another SFU restaurant. I was feeling a bit cheap and I was in need of a quick lunch so I decided to try Pizza Point located in the cornerstone complex. Pizza Point is like your typical grab and go cheap pizza place. They also sell hot wings and fries but most people go for pizza.

I got the two slices of pizza and a pop combo ($5). Since I went during peak lunch time there was a variety of different types of pizza and they all seemed pretty fresh because of the high turnover. I chose a slice of Hawaiian and a slice of pepperoni mushroom. They were both pretty warm and I liked how the crust wasn’t too thick. I prefer a thinner style pizza and this one was a perfect size for me. The ham on the Hawaiian was cut into little cubes which has a better texture than when it’s in big thick slices. The pepperoni mushroom was pretty standard but nevertheless satisfying. I also liked how they had ranch and parmesan cheese on the counter so you could help yourself.

Overall Pizza Point isn’t anything special but its cheap and decent. Sometimes during less busy times of the day the pizza gets a bit cold and soggy but if you go during a busy time they are fresh and taste way better. I also like how they have a wide variety of flavors available.

Recommendation:

Yes for a cheap and quick lunch.

I was unfortunate enough to have gotten their cold+soggy pizzas a few times and haven’t had a chance to grab a fresh slice yet!
Grrrr 😡 but yours look tasty!

I was lucky enough to see them bringing one of the pizzas out of the oven as I walked in so I quickly grabbed it!
