Bella Gelateria

Right at the base of the Vancouver Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel is a cute gelato shop called Bella Gelateria. All of their gelatos are hand crafted and they offer an array of classic and unique flavors. This gelato isn’t cheap. It costs $5 for one scoop and $6 for two scoops. I love all of the different flavor combinations they have. They have some really unique ones like lavender and rosewater.

I took me a while to decide which flavor I wanted because they have about 25 different ones and they all sounded really good. I love tropical flavors and since it was a hot day I decided I wanted something refreshing so I chose the Organic Thai Coconut Milk. I love coconut anything so I was not disappointed by this gelato. It was very smooth and light and the coconut flavor really stood out. I could definitely tell that it was coconut milk and not just coconut. It had a milky creamy flavor that wasn’t like your average coconut flavoring. There were little coconut flakes throughout the gelato as well.

The gelato here is expensive but its delicious. You do taste the quality of the ingredients and it is noticeable how smooth the gelato is. It’s not the kind of place you go every day but it is a really delicious treat for all the ice cream and gelato lovers out there.

Recommendation:

Yes if you like high quality and uniquely flavored gelato
