Tokyo Dining is an upscale Japanese restaurant located in Disney’s Epcot Park. They have bento boxes and cooked items as well as a full sushi menu. The restaurant feels pretty modern inside. If you can, try to get a table by the windows because you will have a nice view of the gardens and if you are there during the evening, you can watch the fireworks.
I ordered the sushi delux matsu ($28) which comes with two pieces of tuna, salmon, tamago, and shrimp, a piece of scallop and eel, and four pieces of a rainbow roll, and two pieces of a spicy roll.
I liked the combination I got because it had so many different things that you get to taste a bit of everything. If you are a sushi beginner, this would be a good way to try a bunch of items.
The sushi here was fresh, simple, and good. It’s not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but I’m spoiled with all of the affordable and delicious sushi I eat in Vancouver.
Tokyo Dining is a nice restaurant and their food is good, but not spectacular. That being said, it is probably the best sushi you will find on the Disney properties. If you come here I would stick with the sushi combinations because they are the best value. Skip getting the cooked items and the a la carte rolls because they are overpriced.
Yes, for the sushi combinations, but no for the cooked items.
