Raglan Road

Raglan Road is an Irish pub and restaurant located in Downtown Disney. They have a large menu that has Irish inspired food and pub classics.

The restaurant itself is pretty large and it has a lively fun environment. Don’t come here if you want a quiet dinner. In the evening they often have live music performances and Irish dancers.

Soda Bread

To begin the meal they bring out a complimentary loaf of Irish soda bread and a Guinness honey dip. The bread was slightly sweet and on the dry side, but the dip was very good.

The Four Provinces Beer Flight

We tried the Four Provinces beer flight which comes with a glass of Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp, and Kilkenny. This was my first time trying Irish beer and it was interesting to get to taste them all side by side. I enjoyed the Harp lager and the Kilkenny cream ale the most.

Dalkey Duo

My family shared the dalkey duo appetizer, which are little deep-fried cocktail sausages. Essentially these are like fancy corn dogs. The batter on the outside was thin and crispy and the sausage was really flavourful. These also come with a mustard sauce for dipping. This is a fun appetizer and great for sharing.

It's Not Bleedin' Chowder!

For my main, I got “it’s not bleedin’ chowder!”, which is like a seafood stew or a cioppino style dish.

In the bowl there were mussels, shrimp, salmon, and a white fish (I forget which kind) as well as some potatoes and onions.  This dish was very hearty and filling and the seafood was great. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted fresh.

Everything was mixed up in a white wine cream sauce that was very delicious. It wasn’t too heavy, but it had the perfect hint of rich creaminess.

My whole family loved their meals here and it ended up being one of our favourite dining experiences at Disney World. The food here is well prepared and good quality and there is something for everyone on the menu.

Recommendation:

Yes, for great food and a fun atmosphere.
