Maclean’s magazine has recently compiled a list of their picks for Canada’s 50 best restaurants. The magazine compiled the list based on the dishes presented to them and they “aimed for a balance of old and new, cheap and pricey, casual and posh” restaurants.
Hawksworth restaurant in Vancouver won title of restaurant of the year. Vancouver had 8 restaurants (including one from Whistler) on the list that included:
I’ve never actually been to any of the restaurants that made the list and I wouldn’t call any of them “cheap” or truly “casual” in the way I would use those terms. You can see the rest of the top 50 on Maclean’s website.
