The Flo Tea Room location that was at Granville and 64th, has closed their doors for good as of Sept 28, 2012. Flo Tea Room specialized in bubble tea drinks as well as Hong Kong and Taiwanese style meals. According to the Flo Tea Room Twitter page, one of the reasons they will be closing this location is due to increasing building rent.
The Flo Tea Room located in Richmond is still operating. There is no news yet on whether they will try to find a new location.
NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Went to Qoo tonight, not knowing ownership had changed. Smaller menu, food not bad, chef slower, no free soup, and 20% more expensive. On the plus side, it seemed roomier. I hope they open again near me because Richmond is too far.
I was wondering how the new Qoo place is, good to know. The Vancouver location seemed to be popular so I would be surprised if they didn’t open at another location.
