In-N-Out Burger

In-N-Out Burger is a popular American fast food chain that has a simple menu of burgers, fries, and milkshakes. I always hear great things about them, but the closest In-N-Out to Vancouver is in California.  I was so excited when I finally got to try In-N-Out on my trip to Disneyland.

I got a cheeseburger combo with fries and a drink for under $5. Apparently they hand cut their fries in the store, which is impressive for fast food. The fries did seem very fresh and they tasted good. I prefer my fries a bit more crisp, but you can ask them to double fry them if you want.

I asked for my cheeseburger to be “animal style”, which means that they fry the beef patty in mustard, and they put grilled onions and extra sauce on the burger.

After the first bite of my burger I was really impressed with it. In-N-Out Burger prides themselves on making every burger fresh to order and never using prepackaged or frozen food in their restaurant. You really can taste the difference when compared to places like McDonald’s. The beef patty was juicy and the bun tasted fresh. I enjoyed the flavour of the grilled onions, however, I didn’t notice anything different about the mustard grilled patty.

My family enjoyed In-N-Out Burger so much that we came back again on the day we were leaving California. This time I got a double cheeseburger with no modifications. I really enjoyed having two patties on the burger because it made the burger more substantial and juicy.

The only real difference between the regular burger and an animal style burger is the onions. If you like the strong taste of raw onions then get the regular burger, but if you like the sweet mild flavour of grilled onions you will probably like animal style better.

I was impressed with the food from In-N-Out burger because of the great taste and the super cheap prices. It’s even cheaper than McDonald’s and its ten times as good. In-N-Out Burger please come to Vancouver.

Recommendation:

Yes, for the best fast food burger.

I was so glad to finally be able to try this burger at the Langley Cruise event this year. It was even worth the two hour wait and almost getting sunstroke for it. It seems they will unlikely come to Canada because of they won’t be able to control their food supply like they do in California. So it looks like I’ll have to go to California or Vegas to satisfy my In N Out craving. I really want to try their animal style burger!!!

So glad you got to check it out and see what all the hype was all about. So how come we don’t have anyone in Vancouver who’s willing to offer the same fresh concept at reasonable prices? I am so sick of the cardboard burgers from you know who.
