Hungry Bear Restaurant is a casual counter service restaurant in Disneyland park that serves burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The location is right along the water and they have a large two levelled patio.
For my lunch I got the crispy chicken sandwich and zesty slaw.
The chicken sandwich was boring. The chicken inside was warm and crisp, but the bun was too dense and thick. The burger just had a few pieces of lettuce, a tomato, and a minimal amount of honey mustard spread. The honey mustard would have been good, but there was hardly any of it on the bun, which lead to an overly dry and flavourless sandwich.
I had high hopes for the zesty slaw because it was filled with mango slices, peppers, and a few other veggies, but it was very soggy. The salad was premade and it tasted like it had been sitting there for a while.
I wasn’t impressed with my meal at the Hungry Bear Restaurant. I’ve had worse food, but everything was bland and uninspiring and I would not make an effort to return.
Recommendation:
No, the food is mediocre.

Did you try the desserts here? The Honey Lemon Cupcake and the Mini Blueberry Pie are excellent. Plus I like the fact that it seems a little “secluded” from the rest of the park and you can get away from all the rushing, crowds, and noise and fine a nice quiet area to sit and enjoy your food.
I was too full for dessert, but I do wish I could have tried the honey lemon cupcake. It looked so cute!
