Dale MacKay, Top Chef Canada season 1 winner and owner of Ensemble and Ensemble Tap, has officially closed both restaurants. Both of these restaurants served their last meals on Saturday and they are now closed.
In an interview with the Vancouver Sun, MacKay stated that the restaurants are closing because of financial reasons mainly due to the high rent costs of downtown Vancouver. You can read more of the interview here.
