Even though I’ve lived in Maple Ridge my whole life, I didn’t notice a small Vietnamese restaurant called Pho Hue Xua & Coffee until a few weeks ago. On a cold rainy evening I went in to try out their pho. The restaurant is easy to pass by from the outside and the inside is small but the owners are friendly.
I went with my staple pho and got the #3 lean medium rare beef slices in the large size ($6). A few minutes after I ordered, a piping hot bowl of pho was brought out. The broth was aromatic and had a rich beef flavour. There was tons of pink sliced beef on top that had a pretty good texture even after it had been sitting in the hot bowl while I was eating. I love tons of cilantro and onions in my pho so I was happy that they didn’t skimp out on them. The noodles were chewy and the large portion of them is definitely filling.
Overall I was impressed with this bowl of pho, especially since it was only $6. The other pho place in town charges at least a dollar more and this pho is just as good. They have some other rice and noodle dishes on the menu and I would like to come back and try those out.
Tip:
They have free delivery.
Recommendation:
Yes, for cheap and tasty pho.

I love this place! My hubby and I have been making this a monthly visit! The staff are so nice too!
I must say, I absolutely adore this place. If you wind up returning try their salad rolls, I find myself unmoved by most places but they’re really yummy.
The owners are so sweet too, my sister and I went in one time when it was the birthday of one of the kids and so they took slices of cake to everyone that was in at the time. I really like this place c:
Good to know, if I go back I will try their salad rolls.
