In need of a quick lunch, my family headed to Donair Affair in Maple Ridge. The inside is clean and tiny and they have a few tables to sit at. They offer all of the regular chicken, lamb, and beef donairs and they have some vegetarian falafel options as well.
I ordered the regular chicken donair ($5.25). They put a large amount of juicy flavourful chicken into the wrap and it was seasoned nicely. For my veggies I got lettuce, red onion, and cucumber, but they had a few more to choose from. I opted for all of the sauces which were a hot sauce, a tzatziki, and a creamy garlic sauce. I enjoyed all of the sauces and they made the donair rich and creamy, however I didn’t find the hot sauce to be very hot.
Donair Affair is nothing fancy, but the food is decent. It is comparable to most other donair places in the Metro Vancouver area. I was satisfied with the taste of my donair and it was very filling, especially for only $5.25. I would come back here if I needed a quick lunch.
