Fable Kitchen is a new restaurant in Kitsilano that is taking the place of Refuel Restaurant. Fable Kitchen is being opened by Top Chef Canada contender, Trevor Bird. Trevor is a local food advocate so the premise of this restaurant is “farm to table” food, which will emphasize local food products. This concept was featured in an episode of Top Chef Canada. Curtis Luk, who also appeared on the show, is heavily involved with the restaurant and he will be Fable’s head chef.
The restaurant will be open for a Mother’s Day brunch service and it will open for dinner next week. Fable’s lunch service won’t begin for a few more weeks.
