This Saturday, the 6th annual spot prawn festival will take place in Vancouver. To celebrate the spot prawn season, chefs will be boiling up fresh off the boat BC spot prawns. The festival is being held at the False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf from 11am to 3pm.
To attend this event you can purchase tickets online for $12 (plus a $1.29 service fee), which will buy you a plate of boiled prawns with sides, sauces, and bread. With this ticket, you will also get access to the drink tent where there is free coffee and drink samples. In addition to the food, there will also be cooking demos and you will have the opportunity to purchase a bag of prawns to take home. Online sales for the tickets end on May 4, so don’t wait too long if you want to buy some.
