O-Cha Tea Bar is a tiny cafe in Yaletown that specializes in tea drinks. They have so many different kinds of tea from the standard greens and blacks to some unique types and flavor combinations. I first discovered this place when I received a free voucher for a tea and I fell in love with it. The first time I came here I ordered a hot strawberry green tea with a bit of honey in it. It was great so I had to come back and try some more drinks.
It was a warm day and I was in need of something refreshing. I got the honey ginger iced tea. I love the flavor of honey in tea so I really liked this. The size of the drink was good and they definitely didn’t skimp on the tea bag. The iced tea had the right amount of sweetness for me and wasn’t too bitter.
O-Cha is pretty tiny inside so it’s more of a grab and go place. They make way better tea drinks than most cafes which tend to overlook tea in favor of coffee and its nice to see some variety outside of a London fog. The prices are reasonable and are on par with most other cafes in the city.
